The Brandon School District is a mid-size school district nestled in Northwest Oakland County.
The district has approximately 1,000 students in junior kindergarten-5th grade between the two elementary schools, approximately 600 at the middle school level and approximately 850 at the high school.
This small, tight knit community has a strong connection to its schools and is passionate about the education of its youth.
Brandon High School sends 85-90% of its graduates to post-secondary school each year, it was ranked in the 82nd percentile of all schools in the State on the top-to-bottom rankings and it was awarded as a Silver Medal Winner by the US News.
Our elementary schools are both one-to-one technology are each near the 83rd percentile in State rankings.
Brandon High School is looking for a creative individual in which to lead and co-teach in our renowned STEM Program.
Your duties would be to organize, prepare, and co-teach hands on learning activities in the areas of Math, Science, and Engineering.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Teacher Certified with a Math or Science endorsement Preference given to those with experience in Robotics and/or Engineering OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Highly organized Technologically inclined is a plus Ability to work with other teachers in a co-teaching model Ability to bring leadership to the team REPORTS TO:
